Major Milestones
“Over the past decade, we’ve marked significant milestones in our journey. From the inception of Project ‘Poshan,’ ensuring nutritious meals for specially-abled children, to our nationwide presence addressing the basic needs of marginalized communities, each milestone represents our unwavering commitment to positive change and societal betterment.”
When the schools were struggling to provide with nutritional foods, Saksham Parivartan was born and took up the challenge to support a couple of schools for specially abled children with nutritious breakfast/lunch/dinner.
“A CLEAN COUNTRY WOULD BE THE BEST TRIBUTE A CITIZEN COULD PAY TO THE COUNTRY.”
Saksham through its rigorous campaign on cleanliness, organised sanitation campaigns, wherein localities were cleaned and dustbins were donated to make people aware of the importance of sanitation and cleanliness.
“EK Kadam Swachata Ki Or” being our dream project is still an ongoing project in different parts of India. Awareness campaigns are held at schools & colleges as the children of today are the future responsible citizens.
Uniting our society is one of our Mission and together we can make a lot of things better. We have to keep in mind “Unity is Strength” , so together we can. Keeping this in mind we started a lot of campaigns like Holi Milan , Ganesh Puja, Saraswati Puja, Maharashtra Day and many more…
Out of all the 5 senses, eye sight seems to be the most important . Our day-to-day activities depend on our vision, in absence of which life becomes miserable.
It was noticed by our visionaries that many underprivileged were lacking the facility of correcting their eye-sight.
Considering this fact, we started organizing “FREE EYE CHECK UP CAMPS.” These camps includes free eye check up camps, free cataract operations and free spectacles distribution.
This is an Ongoing Mission under which year after year hundreds of people are getting benefited.
Our team considered the fact that “The Indian Police” play a crucial role in our society in India. They are responsible for maintaining law and order and ensuring public safety.
They work selflessly towards the betterment of our society.
So to pay a small tribute to the Police Force, we started the Mission “Shukriya”.
Under this mission we have been celebrating “Raksha Bandhan” with the Maharashtra Police. Also under this mission, hundreds of “SUMMER RELIEF KITS” have been distributed.
We have been training the girls and the specially abled girls to become independent . We train them in candle making, baking, stitching etc. This helps them earn their livelihood and in turn makes them self dependent and confident.
We have been training the underprivileged on being independent by providing them vocational training.
Saksham Parivartan is involved in empowering women who forms the pivot around which our society revolves. Under this program around 4000 women were trained in knitting and “Cute Cuddles” was born. The trained women would knit sweaters, shawls, blankets, scarves, caps and our team would post on the social media and the revenue generated would go to these women, out of which they would earn a livelihood.
During the second wave of Covid, there was chaos and our main objective was to help people get jobs. In association with different job consultants we organized online job fairs and gave work from home opportunities. Under this programme counseling was provided as people were going through tough time.Over 1 lakh people benefited.
Senior Citizen were registered for the Senior Citizen Card and the cards were handed over to the Senior Citizens. This was to empower them and make their life better.
We help the marginalised in the society to stand up and be independent by supporting them earn their livelihood. Under this mission tailoring shop, car washing centres etc were set up for these individuals.
